The nutcase behind Knotty!

My name is Léa, I am a 23 years old from Brighton and have recently graduated from university. It would be fair to say that it has been a little tough finding a job at the moment, and so I thought why not try to grow (as well as my large family of plants, common, we all know a lockdown friend turned plant-parent) my creative hobby?!

Macramé knots are something I learned when I was younger, and walking along a street not too long ago I realised whilst looking at a hanger in a shop window that I recognised the knots used!

Fuelled by my curiosity and with a little research, I found a few yarns that were made from completely recycled materials and perfect for plant hanging. Based on this finding and my being from Brighton of course, I decided that I would keep the production, sourcing and packaging of my hangers as green and environmentally friendly as possible.

All of my hangers are therefore made from either recycled materials, reused materials, or independently/locally sourced.

Making these plant hangers really is a passion of mine and a way to calm my turbulent mind, so I feel fortunate that I am able to make a small living from doing what I love!
